What is In-School PSR?
As of July 1, 2007; Medicaid rules changed requiring that any PSR services delivered in the school setting will require a PSR contract, which is paid in part by the school. Each school in North Idaho has the ability to contract out services with a provider agency.
Currently, Family Support Services is working with in-school contracts in several local elementary and middle schools. Your local schools special education department will be able to answer specific questions that you may have regarding how this will impact services currently being received or services that you wish to request.
